Biography
Skye has eight years' experience with the New South Wales Police Force, including five years as a senior Detective. She has led and contributed to sensitive, complex and high-risk criminal investigations involving homicide, sexual assault, child abuse, robbery, serious crime, arson and fraud. As Lead Investigating Officer on multiple Strike Forces, she has been responsible for investigation planning, evidence gathering, and investigative interviewing.
Skye has prepared briefs of evidence for proceedings in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, work that requires disciplined analysis and the ability to identify, probe, and test evidence in seriously contested matters.
Skye has assisted in the delivery and presentation of the NSW Police Force Detectives Investigations Course, teaching investigative practice to experienced officers moving into specialist criminal investigation roles.
At Riskwise Consulting, Skye applies this experience to workplace and integrity investigations, including matters involving serious misconduct, sexual misconduct, bullying and harassment, and conduct concerning children and other people at risk.
