Biography

Emma is an experienced lawyer and nationally accredited mediator with over 15 years of expertise spanning Australia and the UK.

Admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of NSW (2018) and the Supreme Court of South Australia (2024), Emma has advised and represented government agencies, health networks, and large organisations across complex employment, misconduct, and workplace reform matters. Her recent roles include advising SA Health’s New Women’s and Children’s Hospital program and the SA Department of Treasury & Finance, as well as earlier contributions to NSW’s Department of Communities & Justice and the UK’s Barts Health NHS Trust.

Emma’s work includes leading investigations into employee misconduct, workplace culture concerns, and regulatory compliance matters; guiding organisational change programs; and advising on compliance in areas such as workers compensation, return-to-work, discrimination, workplace safety, and public sector governance. She has also contributed to significant government responses to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, providing legal analysis, drafting submissions, and representing senior executives in hearings.

Known for her structured, evidence-based approach, Emma excels in interviewing, fact-finding, and distilling complex legal and factual issues into clear, defensible findings. Her experience in industrial tribunals, enterprise bargaining, and strategic dispute resolution enables her to offer practical, balanced solutions that meet both organisational needs and legislative requirements.
