Biography
Cath is a highly experienced investigator and workplace relations advisor, with more than 25 years’ experience in employment law and workplace relations, including leading complex and sensitive investigations as a practising lawyer.
She has specialised in industrial and employee relations for many years across both the public and private sectors, giving her a well-developed understanding of the practical and legal complexities that arise from workplace conflict and conduct concerns.
Cath has extensive experience conducting workplace investigations end-to-end and navigating the procedural, cultural and legal issues that accompany them. She also has significant experience designing and delivering workplace training on employment and conduct-related topics.
She has provided specialist industrial and employee relations advice and subject matter expertise to organisations across a wide range of industries, including not-for-profit, education, aviation, mining and resources, energy and chemicals, transport, construction, health, retail and manufacturing.
Cath has appeared as an advocate in conciliations before the Fair Work Commission in matters arising under the Fair Work Act 2009, including unfair dismissal and general protections claims, industrial disputes and enterprise bargaining.
